However, soon her name was taken back from the Governor race.Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Jan 23 stated that he has conveyed his desire to step down from the political responsibilities to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s recent visit to Mumbai.
