Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced that the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster will be set up at Ranjangaon in Pune district under National Policy on Electronics.

Fadnavis took to his Twitter and wrote, “I am extremely grateful to Hon PM @narendramodi ji as Government of India approves Electronics Manufacturing Cluster at Ranjangaon in Pune district under National Policy on Electronics”.

EMC is targeted to attract Rs2000 crore investment and to generate 5000 employment opportunities.

Earlier two major projects shifted to other states due to which Maharashtra had to lose thousand of crores, but now it will be a sigh of relief for the Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis government as they have grabbed a mega project from centre.
