A total of twelve thousand seven hundred and eighty one new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country during the last 24 hours.
Union Health Ministry said, eight thousand 537 people recovered during the same period. The recovery rate is currently at 98.61 per cent. India’s active caseload currently stands at over 76 thousand and it is at 0.18 per cent. The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 2.62 per cent while the daily positivity rate is at 4.32 per cent.
The Ministry said, more than 196 crore 18 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. During the last 24 hours, more than two lakh eighty thousand doses were administered.
