Court complex at Handwara eagerly awaits completion

Srinagar: Lawyers affiliated to Bar Association of Handwara bemoan the fact that due to lack of space in the Court Complex Handwara, hundreds of people including judges, lawyers and court staff are facing difficulties.

The construction work of the Court Complex at Handwara in Kupwara district was started about six years ago but it is still left unfinished due to reasons not known. Due to the incomplete construction of the court complex building, people including lawyers and court staff are facing severe hardships.

Lawyers affiliated to Bar Association Handwara said that about crores of rupees have been spent on the building so far while crores of rupees have been wasted so far due to delay in construction work. The Court Complex at Handwara still awaits completion.
