Srinagar: With an aim to highlight the issues of social and national importance, a youth convention was organised at the Indian Army’s camp at Zachaldara in conjunction with Press Club Handwara which was attended by the members of local youth clubs and young boys of village Zachaldara.
Kabir from ANN news, Shamim from Gulistan News, Aadil Akbar from JKAC NEWS and Asif from KNS news conducted the event and spoke to the youth in length about various scholarship schemes, Agniveer rallies, importance of Education, Drug menace and brought out various avenues of employment for the youth. They also insisted the youth to avail the opportunity and platform provided by the current government in the field of sports.
Nazir, a physical teacher and chairman of Youth Club brought out the threats of social media and how to limit its use in order to save time for other worthy activities. A total of 6 media personnel, 2 Youth club Chairman and 27 members attended the convention.
