West Bengal Polls 2021: Campaigning gains momentum; Star campaigners to hold road shows

In poll bound West Bengal, campaigning is gaining momentum gradually. Senior leaders and star campaigners of BJP will be holding a series of public meetings and road shows today in the districts going for polls in the first phase. Home Minister Amit Shah will be taking part in a road show at Kharagpur of West Medinipur in the evening whereas Textile minister Smriti Irani will address several rallies in Purulia, West and East Medinipur.

Candidates of the Left Front and Trinamool Congress will mostly focus on door to door campaign today. Chairman of the Left Front Biman Basu will be in Jhargram. Trinamool Congress has postponed the manifesto release programme which was scheduled for this evening.
