After the lockdown was imposed in Maharashtra some people welcomed the decision while some seemed to be unhappy. A video is going viral of Ulhasnagar, where shopkeepers staged protests on the streets opposing the lockdown which has been imposed in the entire state.
More than a hundred shopkeepers marched on the streets raising slogans ‘Lockdown nahi chahiye’ (We don’t want lockdown). People have been opposing the lockdown and newly introduced guidelines which orders all the non-essential shops to remain closed till April 30. Last year when the lockdown was imposed, many had been through crisis and suffered loss in their business, while some had to shut it permanently. In a bid to avoid the same situation again bizmens, shopkeepers have been staging protests.
