The Vigilance Awareness Week-2020 began at Nations Development Association (NDA) in Jammu and various other NDA Member across Jammu Division from October 30.The Vigilance Awareness Week-2020 will continue till November 2, 2020.On the occasion, banners and posters of Vigilance Awareness Week-2020 are being displayed at prominent places of the office premises to increase awareness among the people.
Sushil Singh Charak Chairman of Nations Development Association (NDA) Affiliated NYK Jammu UT Jammu and Kashmir administered the integrity pledge to its members including volunteer on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Sushil Singh Charak said the theme of Vigilance Awareness Week this year, as decided by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is ‘Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat’ (Vigilant India, Prosperous India).
Sushil Singh Charak further said, “Vigilance and honesty have been a part of Indian culture” and urged all the Nations Development Association (NDA) Member to uphold the spirit of vigilance as it is “essential for national prosperity”. A plethora of week-long activities such as in-house quiz competition, essay competition and guest lecturers have been lined up adhering to COVID19 protocol. The activities have been lined up to create awareness amongst the members and other volunteers against corruption and promoting integrity in every aspect of life, Tanish Sharma Sub District President Nations Development Association NDA said.
