Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the family members of those victims who are killed in the triple train accident at Bahanga Bazar near Balasore and those who sustained serious injuries will get Rs 1 lakh as assistance, a statement issued by the CMO said.
Earlier Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw had announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh and the Prime Minister’s Office declared Rs 2 lakh for the families which lost their near and dear ones in the tragedy.
