Thane: Recovery rate of COVID-19 declined to 85.8 percent

Mumbai: The recovery rate of Covid-19 patients in Thane city has slightly declined to 85.8 percent from 90 percent at the end of August, a Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) report stated on Wednesday.

Until now, a total number of patients dying due to Coronavirus is about 911 has been recorded and 26,814 patients have been recovered while 3,542 patients are currently under the treatment in various hospital.

According to a health official of TMC said, “On Wednesday, taking a total number of positive cases have been recorded 364 patients, of which four were died due to Coronavirus infection. While 378 patients have been discharged from various hospital on September 16”.

Out of 364 positive cases, 91 patients Majiwada-Manpada ward committee, 37 patients were from Vartaknagar ward committee, 33 patients were from Lokmanyanagar ward committee, 62 patients were from Naupada-Kopari ward committee, 49 patients were from Uthalsar ward committee,13 patients were from Wagale Estate ward committee, 51 patients from Kalwa ward committee, 4 patients from Mumbra ward committee, 24 patients were from Diva ward committee.-By Narendra Gupta
