Mumbai: In a scathing criticism Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) faction spokesperson Sanjay Raut remarked that those who are indebted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah should not boast about freeing the ‘bow and arrow’ symbol. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has taken the ‘bow and arrow’ symbol and has mortgaged it to PM Modi and HM Amit Shah.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had claimed that he had freed the bow and arrow and the Shiv Sena. Raut was responding to this claim. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who came to Maharashtra for campaigning, made the statement “Batenge toh Katenge” (if divided, we will be cut). Responding to this statement, Raut said that when HM Amit Shah will be out of power, there will be splits and divisions within his party.
Raut also remarked that UP CM Yogi Adityanath has four brothers, who have never been able to come together, nor could they visit their mother or attend their father’s funeral. Yet, the same UP CM Yogi Adityanath is teaching Maharashtra the language of division. Additionally, in the context of the elections, Raut mentioned that it seems PM Modi and HM Amit Shah will stay in Mumbai, and industrialist Gautam Adani has made arrangements for them.
During this time, there will be efforts to implement the ‘divide and split’ program, but Raut asserted that the people of Maharashtra will not fall prey to such schemes.
Commenting about senior NCP Ajit Pawar faction leader Chhagan Bhujbal’s remarks on Enforcement Directorate (ED), Raut said that many people joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to protect their properties. Everyone left the party out of fear of the ED. Now that they are confident of a change in government, their fear has lessened, and they have started speaking out. Raut added that they have achieved what they intended.
He also mentioned that BJP leader Dr Kirit Somaiya’s voice has now been silenced, and that the ED actions have stopped. Raut sarcastically noted that Kirit Somaiya’s voice has been muted. Many leaders were pressured by ED actions, and are now able to breathe freely, they betrayed their respective parties. Along with himself, Anil Deshmukh, Anil Parab, and Ravindra Waikar were under pressure. Leaders were forced to leave their parties and join the BJP. The BJP even provided the knives and instructed where to stab.
Raut further remarked that, people with the physique of tigers but hearts of mice got scared. Raut mentioned that he had given a letter about this situation to the Vice President of India. Commenting on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, Raut criticized the MNS chief for aligning with PM Modi, HM Amit Shah and DCM Devendra Fadnavis, and therefore, can do whatever he wants because he is with those who are in power.
Raut added that MNS chief Raj Thackeray is merely doing the talking and doing nothing. He said Raj Thackeray is helping Modi and Shah, and hence it is necessary to politically clean up PM Modi, HM Amit Shah and industrialist Gautam Adani. He further raised concerns over the November 17 permission sought for Uddhav Thackeray’s rally on the death anniversary of Balasaheb Thackeray. He added that instead the permission for the rally was granted to another party. Raut warned of a potential for conflict between Shiv Sainiks present at the memorial in the morning and the other group in the evening.
