Gujarat government has decided to resume offline classes for 9th and 11th standard from 1st of February. State government has also decided to allow private coaching classes for class 9 to 12 from 1st February. These decisions were taken at cabinet meeting yesterday. AIR correspondent reports that, giving details of the cabinet meeting, the State Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that Standard Operating Protocols SOP declared earlier for class 10 and 12 will also be effective for class 9 and 11. Off-line permission for Tuition classes will be applicable to class 9 to 12 only.
The State government had earlier allowed offline reopening of class 10 and 12. Meanwhile, 353 new cases of Covid19 recorded in Gujarat during the last 24 hours. 462 patients discharged from the hospitals after recovery. The recovery rate has further improved to 96.79 percent. According to the state health department, 3787 persons were vaccinated yesterday. Total 95909 persons have received Covid19 vaccine in the state till now.
