Days after Salman Khan visited the Mumbai Police headquarters, located opposite Crawford Market in south Mumbai, seeking a gun license, he has been issued the same.

Khan had applied following a recent case pertaining to a death threat to him and his father.

As per reports, the license was collected by the actor’s representative after handing over acknowledgement.

He had also updated his regular car to a bulletproof land cruiser.

In June this year, the Bandra police had registered an FIR against unknown persons after Salman’s father, Salim Khan, found a handwritten letter at Bandstand. The letter was placed on a bench where the older Khan would usually sit after his morning walk, and warned that the father and son duo would soon meet the same fate as murdered singer Sidhu Moosewala.
