New Delhi: Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has issued a strong statement asserting the Congress party’s commitment to safeguarding the Constitution, specifically the principle of “One Man, One Vote.”
Speaking on the importance of electoral integrity, Gandhi said, “One Man One Vote is the foundation of the Constitution. It is the duty of the Election Commission to enforce this, but they have failed in their responsibility. We are protecting the Constitution, and we will keep doing it.”
He further alleged that attempts to manipulate electoral seats are occurring systematically across the nation. “There are several seats. It is being done systematically on a national level. The Election Commission is aware of this, and now we also have the proof,” Gandhi asserted.
Reaffirming his party’s resolve, he concluded, “We are protecting the Constitution, and we will keep doing it. We will not stop.”
