President Droupadi Murmu has approved the resignations of three union ministers—Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Singh Patel, and Renuka Singh—from the union council of ministers. Their resignations follow their election to the state assemblies of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

In accordance with a Rashtrapati Bhawan communication, significant portfolio adjustments have been made:

Arjun Munda has been entrusted with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, in addition to his current responsibilities, taking over from Narendra Singh Tomar.

Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State, will now hold the additional charge of Minister of State in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, alongside her existing portfolio, succeeding Prahlad Singh Patel.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for IT, has been appointed as Minister of State in the Ministry of Jal Shakti, alongside his existing roles. This role was previously held by Prahlad Singh Patel.

Dr. Bharti Pravin Pawar, Minister of State, will now take on the additional role of Minister of State in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, alongside her existing responsibilities, succeeding Renuka Singh.

These portfolio reallocations aim to ensure seamless governance and continuity in key ministerial responsibilities following the resignation of the three union ministers.
