New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday welcomed the arrival of the first freight train to the Kashmir Valley, calling it a historic moment for commerce and connectivity in the region. PM Modi will also flag off three new Vande Bharat Express trains from KSR Railway Station, aimed at further strengthening intercity rail connectivity. In addition, he will lay the foundation stone for Bengaluru Metro Phase-3, a major step towards expanding the city’s mass transit network.

In a boost for Bengaluru’s urban infrastructure, Yellow Line of Bengaluru Metro will be inaugurated. The foundation stone of the Bengaluru Metro Phase-3 will be laid. Will also be addressing a public programme in the city,” PM Modi posted on X.
