Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said development and welfare will play key role in maintaining internal security. Stating that the financial digital frauds are posing major challenge to the authorities and asked young police officials to find new and innovative solutions to contain the financial frauds.
Interacting virtually with the IPS probationers at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad, the prime minister asked young IPS officials to take interest to focus on police reforms and fitness in the entire force during coming days. He said development and welfare activities will play key role in the internal security besides strategy and tact.
Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and Minister of State (Home) Shri Nityanand Rai are also present on the occasion.
The Prime minister has interacted with IPS probationers from cadres belong to various states including Tamil Nadu, Chattisghad, Rajastan, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh on the occasion.
