India has administered over 76 crore 57 lakh doses of COVID vaccine so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 64 lakh 51 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said, 38 thousand 303 COVID patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate has reached 97.64 per cent. Till now, more than three crore 25 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.
The country reported 30 thousand 570 new cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is at around three lakh 42 thousand. The active cases constitute 1.03 per cent of the total reported cases. However, the daily positivity rate stands at 1.94 per cent.
The Ministry said, more than 54 crore 77 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
