India has administered over 74 crore 38 lakh doses of COVID vaccine so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 53 lakh 38 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said, 37 thousand 687 COVID patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate has reached 97.54 per cent. Till now, more than three crore 24 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.
The country reported 27 thousand 254 new cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is at around three lakh 74 thousand. The active cases constitute 1.13 per cent of the total reported cases. However, the daily positivity rate stands at 2.26 per cent.
The Ministry said, more than 54 crore 30 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
