The country has administered over 48 crore 52 lakh doses of COVID vaccine so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, more than 62 lakh 53 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
A total of 36 thousand 668 patients recovered from COVID during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 97.37 per cent. Till now, more than three crore nine lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.
The country has reported 42 thousand 625 new cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is over four lakh ten thousand. The active cases constitute 1.29 per cent of the total reported cases so far. Daily Positivity Rate is at 2.31 per cent.
The Ministry said, testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and 47 crore 31 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
