More than 214 crore 27 lakh vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Health Ministry said, over 36 lakh 31 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. During the same period, 6 thousand 395 new COVID cases were reported in the country.
India’s Active caseload currently stands at 50 thousand 342 and it is at 0.11 per cent. The recovery rate is currently at 98.7 per cent. A total of 6 thousand 614 people have recovered in the last 24 hours and with this, the total recoveries touched over four crore 39 lakh. The Ministry said, the Weekly Positivity Rate stands at 1.88 per cent and the Daily Positivity Rate is at 1.96 per cent.
A total of more than 88 crore 83 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, around 3 lakh 25 thousand tests were conducted.
