Mumbai Police shared a strong message after “Bois Locker Room ” chat surfaced on social media platforms
Mumbai: Mumbai Police has put out a strong message on Twitter after the reports of horrific Instagram group, ‘bois locker room’ has upset thousands of people across the country in the last week. In a stern message to the youth Mumbai police has warned them against showing any disrespect to women.
The ‘Bois Locker Room’ is an Instagram group, the screenshots of the conversation between their group member surfaced on social media platforms . The chat room of this Instagram group had members of class 11 and 12, schoolboys talking about sexual assault and circulation of objectionable pictures of teenage girls.
The Mumbai Police in its Twitter message warned youth subscribing to such errant behavior stating that “there is no room for disrespecting women”.
In a tweet posted on late Monday evening, Mumbai Police stated that “Boys will be boys” has never been acceptable excuse and shall never be. Mumbai Police said in the caption of their Twitter message with hashtag” #StopThemYoung”.
