“Wounded Tiger vs Party?” AAP Rift Explodes Over Raghav Chadha Row

A major political storm has erupted within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), as senior leaders openly question Raghav Chadha over his recent social media activity and political stance.

The controversy has triggered intense debate inside the party, exposing cracks at the top level and raising concerns about unity ahead of crucial political battles.

Deleted Posts Spark Big Controversy

The issue began when AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged that Chadha quietly deleted several old posts critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.

Bharadwaj shared screenshots and claimed that a deep search of Chadha’s timeline showed no strong criticism of the Centre anymore. According to him, this was not a coincidence but a deliberate attempt to reshape his public image.

He further pointed out that only a few references to Modi remain and those appear to be positive, raising concerns within party circles.

Leadership Decision Adds Fuel To Fire

The controversy intensified after AAP removed Chadha as deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, replacing him with Ashok Mittal.

Chadha reacted with surprise, saying he has been actively raising public issues like taxation and high airport food prices. However, party leaders dismissed these concerns as not addressing larger national issues, adding to the tension.

Party Leaders Question Loyalty

Criticism within AAP has grown sharper. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann suggested that Chadha may not have fully followed the party’s collective strategy, especially during Opposition walkouts in Parliament.

Bharadwaj also accused him of avoiding strong positions against the Centre, reinforcing the perception of a deep internal divide.

Meanwhile, senior leader Atishi Marlena hinted at possible external pressure, alleging that the BJP often tries to influence Opposition leaders, though she did not make a direct accusation.

Chadha Responds and Issues Challenge

Responding firmly, Raghav Chadha denied all allegations and defended his conduct in Parliament. He challenged critics to provide evidence and maintained that he has consistently supported the Opposition.

On the issue of not signing the motion against the Chief Election Commissioner, Chadha clarified that only a limited number of signatures were required and several AAP MPs had also not signed.

He described himself as a “wounded tiger,” indicating that he is prepared to fight back against the criticism.

Silence of Kejriwal Raises Questions

Amid the escalating tensions, party chief Arvind Kejriwal has not made any public statement, leaving many questions unanswered and adding to speculation about the party’s internal situation.
