On Monday, NCP leader Jayant Patil used a popular “meme” to mock the Shinde-Fadnavis-led Maharashtra government on Twitter.
Patil attempted to criticise the ruling politicians over the relocation of significant investment projects by tweeting an image with both Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis’ photos reading, “Investment mangoge, UP, Gujarat ko denge.”
If the words and images in the snapshot have anything to do with reality, it should be viewed as a mere coincidence, Patil said in the image’s caption.
Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, accused the previous administration of Uddhav Thackeray after the political repercussions from the Vedanta Group and Foxconn decision to choose Gujarat for their Rs. 2.06 lakh-crore megaproject.
