Mumbai: With a mixed blend of experience and youth, the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will finally be expanded on Monday, December 30 in Mumbai. Amongst those who are likely to find berth in the Thackeray led MVA cabinet include – Ajit Pawar, Dhananjay Munde, Aditi Tatkare, Amit Deshmukh, Jogendra Kawade, Bachu Kadu, Raju Shetti amongst others.
Besides the induction of minister’s from the Shiv Sena, Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), alliance partners like PRP leader Prof Jogendra Kawade, PJP leader Bachu Kadu, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatna leader Raju Shetti are also likely to get a berth in the state cabinet.
Those who are likely to find a place in the state cabinet include – Ajit Pawar, Dilip Walse-Patil, Dhananjay Munde, Rajesh Tope, Jitendra Awhad, Dattatray Bharne, Rajendra Shingne, Anil Deshmukh (all NCP), Amit Deshmukh and Amin Patel (both Congress), while Uday Samant and Deepak Kesarkar from Sena are likely to get into the state cabinet. Apart from these Yashomati Thakur and K C Padvi from the Congress are also likely to get a berth in the Thackeray led MVA cabinet.
Sources in the Congress disclosed that names of former minister Varsha Gaikwad and Praneeti Shinde are likely to be axed, and instead the party has tipped Amit Deshmukh, son of former late Congress chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and senior legislator from Mumbai, Amin Patel are likely to get the cabinet berth. Praneeti Shinde is the daughter of senior Congress leader Sushilkumar Shinde.
The MVA ministry will be a mix blend of experience and youth. There will be senior’s like Ajit Pawar, Rajesh Tope, Dilip Walse-Patil, Jitendra Awhad, Rajendra Shingne, Anil Deshmukh, Chhagan Bhujbal, Jayant Patil, Eknath Shinde and Deepak Kesarkar who have experience of handling various portfolio’s in previous governments.
On the other hand the new faces in the MVA cabinet include – Dhananjay Munde, Aditi Tatkare, Dattatray Bharne, Amit Deshmukh, Amin Patel, Raju Shetti, Bachu Kadu and K C Padvi amongst others. The redistribution and allocation of portfolio’s is expected to be announced on Monday evening.
