More than 77 crore 24 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry in a statement said that the country reported over 34 thousand new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The country’s active caseload is currently at three lakh 39 thousand 56.
The active cases constitute 1.02 per cent of the total reported cases so far.The Ministry said, over 37 thousand people recovered from the infection during the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to more than three crore 25 lakh 98 thousand. The recovery rate currently stands at 97.65 per cent.
The Ministry said, weekly positivity rate currently stands at 1.97 per cent which is less than three per cent for the last 84 days. Daily positivity rate is at 2.25 per cent and it is less than three per cent for last 18 days.The Ministry said, more than 54.92 crore tests for COVID-19 have been conducted so far.
