More than 113 crore 68 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, over 67 lakh 82 thousand doses were administered yesterday.
India reported over 10 thousand new cases during the last 24 hours. India’s Active caseload stands at one lakh 28 thousand 555 which is lowest in 527 days. Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases and it is currently at 0.37 per cent, the lowest since March last year.
The Ministry said, the recovery rate is currently at 98.28 per cent and it is highest since March last year. Over 12 thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched three crore 38 lakh 73 thousand 890.
The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 0.96 per cent which is less than two per cent for the last 54 days. Daily positivity rate is at 0.82 per cent which is less than two per cent for last 44 days.
The number of deaths due to the pandemic has reached four lakh 64 thousand 153. In the last 24 hours, 301 deaths were reported.
