Maharashtra: Government imposes new restrictions in state to curb Covid-19, read what’s allowed and what’s not

Maharashtra government has released new sets of restrictions to curb Coid-19 surge in the state. This will come to force from January 10.

1) No movement of people from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am except for essential work

2) Cap on marriages and social/cultural/religious/political gatherings to be capped at 50 people and funerals at 20.

3) Schools/colleges/coaching classes to remain closed till February 15.

4) Restaurants/eateries/theatres to be closed at 10:00 pm.

5) Swimming pools, gymnasium and spas to remain closed.

6) Entertainment parks, zoos, museum, local tourist spots to remain closed. 

7) No visitors to Government offices unless permission from the heads of offices.

8) Private office should rationalise timings or encourage work from home, advised not to exceed 50 % of regular attendance.
