NCP MLAs arrived at the Maharashtra Assembly wearing onions and cotton balls as garlands on the second day of the state’s Budget session.
The party leaders said the government is busy campaigning for polls but onion farmers in the state are devastated.
They raised slogans outside the Assembly and said farmers are not paid enough due to the falling price of onions.
