In Madhya Pradesh, Indore has become the first district in the entire country with a population of more than 10 lakh to inoculate 100% eligible population with the first dose of Covid19 vaccine.
News aegncy reports that Indore Collector Manish Singh informed that the target of Indore district was to vaccinate 28 lakh , 7 thousand ,559 people. Surpassing the target, a total of 28, lakh 08, thousand 212 persons have been vaccinated till 6 pm yesterday. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while congratulating people of Indore has said that Indore district has created history in the field of Covid vaccination. Indore Municipal Corporation has played a vital role in the campaign of vaccination. Municipal Corporation Indore was made the nodal agency in the entire campaign.
