A historic moment unfolded in Madhya Pradesh as the Mohan Yadav-led government embarked on its first-ever cabinet expansion, welcoming 28 ministers into key roles, including stalwarts Kailash Vijayvargiya and Prahlad Singh Patel from the BJP, who were sworn in on Monday.

The oath of office was administered by Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel, marking a significant milestone for the state’s political landscape. Among the 28 ministers, six assumed roles as ministers of state (independent charge), while four were sworn in as state ministers, underscoring the broadening of the government’s leadership spectrum.

The newly inducted cabinet members include an array of esteemed individuals, reflecting a diverse blend of experience and vision for the state’s progress. Alongside Vijayvargiya and Patel, notable personalities such as Rakesh Singh, Rao Uday Pratap Singh, Karan Singh Verma, Nagar Singh Chauhan, Samapatiya Uike, Eidal Singh Kansana, Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Inder Singh Parmar, Nirmala Bhuria, Tulsi Silawat, Vijay Shah, Vishwas Sarang, Govind Singh Rajput, Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Rakesh Shukla, and Chetan Kashyap were sworn in as cabinet ministers.

The inclusion of Krishna Gaur, Dharmendra Lodhi, Dilip Jaiswal, Gautam Tetwal, Lakhan Patel, and Narayan Panwar as ministers of state (independent charge), along with Radha Singh, Pratima Bagri, Dilip Ahirwar, and Narendra Shivaji Patel as ministers of states, further underlines the government’s commitment to a comprehensive and inclusive leadership framework.

Chief Minister Yadav had earlier announced the scheduled oath-taking ceremony at approximately 3:30 pm, following his meeting with Governor Mangubhai C Patel at Raj Bhawan in Bhopal earlier in the day, setting the stage for this momentous occasion.

The expansion of the cabinet signifies a strategic step towards enhancing governance and inclusive leadership, harnessing a diverse array of talents and experiences to address the multifaceted challenges and foster the growth and development of Madhya Pradesh.
