“Israel, do not drop those bombs”: Trump Warns Tel Aviv Amid Ceasefire Breach Allegations

Washington, D.C.: In a bold and urgent message on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump publicly warned Israel against launching further strikes on Iran, calling any such action a “major violation” of the fragile ceasefire brokered by his administration.

Taking to his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote: “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”

The statement came hours after both Iran and Israel traded accusations of ceasefire violations. Before departing for the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump told reporters at the White House: “They [Iran] violated it, but Israel violated it too… I’m not happy with Israel.”

Israeli officials claimed missiles were fired from Iran after Tel Aviv formally accepted the ceasefire agreement. Iran, however, denied launching any missiles, calling the allegations false. Meanwhile, Israeli air defence systems intercepted two projectiles over Haifa, with no casualties or damage reported.

Despite the exchange of fire, Trump’s strong message signals a renewed American push to de-escalate tensions and hold both nations accountable to the terms of the ceasefire.

In response to the alleged violations, Israel Defence Minister Israel Katz stated that the military had been instructed to “respond forcefully” to Iran’s supposed breach.
