Health Ministry today said India has consistently maintained a low and declining Case Fatality Rate which stands at 1.64 per cent.
This is lowest compared to global average of 3.2 per cent and many countries.
It said the aim is to achieve a national CFR of less than one per cent.
Many States and UTs even today have CFR of less than one per cent.
