If there is some need of relaxations, govt will consider in due course, says Maha Health Minister Rajesh Tope

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope did a press conference on Wednesday and spoke about various hurdles faced by the state. While speaking, he said that Maharashtra is facing a shortage of vaccines and has demanded more vaccines from the centre.

“We do not have enough vaccine doses at various vaccination centres, and people have to be sent back due to a shortage of doses. We have demanded from the Centre that people of age group 20-40 years must be vaccinated on priority”, Tope said.

Rajesh Tope also said that new strain is affecting people in a shorter duration of time

He even targeted Devendra Fadnavis and said that nobody should do politics in a pandemic.

“Nobody should do politics in a pandemic situation. CM has appealed this & Devendra Fadnavis supported it. Opposition shouldn’t provoke people for protests against restrictions. If there is some need of relaxations, govt will consider in due course”, said Maharashtra Health Minister.
