Helping Hands opens its branch office at Mumbai for employed and students from north-east

Mumbai: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with a Mumbai based philanthropist entrepreneur Arvind Shah on Monday that will provide distress assistance to people from north-east India, either employed or studying in the metropolitan city.

The MoU was signed at the office of Robin Hibu IPS, Special Police Commissioner Armed Force, New Delhi, in the presence of Armstrong Pamei, IAS, core member Helping Hands, to start a branch at Mumbai. 

After Delhi National Capital Region (NCR), Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad is having lakhs of north east people who are either working or studying in some educational institutions. Such Helping Hands branch will act as guardian for north-east people in the distress times for the whole of Maharashtra state. “Deeply touched by the humanitarian selfless gesture of Samaritan Arvind Shah”, remarked Robin Hibu IPS (1993 batch) Special Police Commissioner Armed Force, New Delhi.
