Kalyan: As many as 22 patients from Kalyan-Dombivli areas died due to coronavirus infection within the five days in the twin city of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) reported. The number of positive cases has been increasing by the day. A total number of positive cases 572, of which 485 have been discharged on Thursday, informed an official of health department of KDMC.
There were 572 new cases of coronavirus reported in the twin city of Kalyan-Dombivli MMR region on Thursday, the total number of deaths in area 750. The mortality number has been increasing by the day in the Kalyan-Dombivli region.
According to a KDMC official, on September 13, there were about 549 positive cases and the total number of deaths in area 728. A day later on September 14, about 500 positive cases were reported in the city while the 734 deaths were recorded.
On September 15, there were 396 new Corona positive cases reported in the city while 739 deaths were reported. There were 537 new cases of COVID-19 were reported here on September 16, while 744 deaths were recorded in the city.
So far there were 5,318 patients who are currently under treatment while 31,172 have recovered and have been discharged, according to the KDMC health officials. – By Narendra Gupta
