Corona makes its appearance in Bollywood, after Big B, Anupam Kher family members also tests positive

Mumbai: After the Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan were tested positive for Covid-19 test on late night Saturday. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya are also found to be Corona positive on Sunday afternoon. Actor Anupam Kher also tweeted and informed about his family members of being infected by the corona virus.

Late on Sunday evening, in a couple of tweets Abhishek Bachchan tweeted “My father and I remain in hospital till the doctors decide otherwise. Everyone please remain cautious and safe follow all rules!”

In an another tweet he added, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested Covid-19 positive. They will be self-quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful. The rest of the family including my Mother (Jaya Bachchan) have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers.”

Anupam Kher’s mother, brother, sister-in-law and his niece all have tested positive. His mother was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital, the rest of the family members are in the home quarantine.

After the news broke out friends, families, fans, politicians started praying for good health and fast recovery of Big B and Anupam Kher’s family members.

According to a senior civic official, after the report of Amitabh and Abhishek came positive, samples were taken to check other members of their household. On Sunday afternoon the covid report of Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya also came positive.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) K West ward office has sanitized all the four bungalows and sealed and declared it as containment zone.

A senior BMC official on the condition of anonymity said, “The samples of a total of 16 people have been taken from the Bachchan’s house for examination. Out of which Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya have been confirmed positive, the results of the remaining people will come by Monday. However both Aishwarya and Aaradhya have no symptoms. Now they have to be quarantined at home or in the hospital it depends on them. If they want to be in home quarantine then they have to give self-declaration that they will follow all the rules “.

Meanwhile, on Sunday actor Anupam Kher posted a video on Twitter in which he told that his mother Dulari, brother, Raju, sister-in-law Reema and niece Vrinda were corona positive. He told me that his mother’s appetite had reduced in the last few days. We first got blood tests done on her, then the reports came normal, then in the CT scan report  it was found that she is suffering from corona, after which all the family members were tested and the other three members of the family were also found positive.

“Anupam Kher’s report is negative. His mother is admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Andheri. There is nothing to worry about, she has mild symptoms and kept in a separate room. His health is stable”, said a senior doctor from the hospital said on the condition of not revealing his name.
