Mumbai: “We have come together to save democracy.  It may be recalled that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president J P Nadda said only BJP will remain and all other parties will end.  BJP’s efforts are to end Shiv Sena. The BJP’s desire for power has become a power grabber”, this was stated by Shiv Sena Party Chief Uddhav Thackeray and Congress General Secretary K C Venugopal Rao on Monday.

This was stated by the two leaders while addressing a joint media interaction at Uddhav Thackeray’s Matoshree residence in Bandra East.

“Shiv Sena has come with full force to save democracy.  Thanks to Venugopalji and Congress.  Our discussion continues.  When we make friends, a wholehearted relationship is created.  It was 25-30 years with the BJP but it happened but they didn’t value it but it’s okay they didn’t understand friends and enemies.  People have questions and they will support us.  Our meetings will continue”, the joint statement said.

The statement further added, “Venugopalji explained the purpose of today’s visit.  Welcome to Matoshree everyone.  An equation against migration in the country.  So, all the parties together each party has its own ideology.  We have come together because that is called democracy.  Elections are ahead.”
