Commander of Hajipir Brigade felicitates students at Trehgam, Kupwara

Srinagar: The ‘Kupwara Super 50’ Program was conceived by the Indian Army to get renowned coaching institutes in India to the doorsteps of selected students of Kupwara, who aspire to appear for IIT, JEE, UPSC & NEET. Entrance exam for selection was conducted in two phases on November 12 and November 22, 2022 for students from the entire Kupwara district and nearby places. 

This was followed by an interview to get screened in Super 50. Total 438 students including 86 female students appeared for the said exam out of which 50 students including 13 female students were finally selected for coaching. The selection of students was based on the candidate’s performance during the screening examination and interview as per the acceptance standards of coaching academies

The first phase of this noble course was started on January 24 earlier this year, when General Officer Commanding, Vajr Div felicitated 30 students who are currently undergoing their free online coaching classes which started from 27 Jan 2023 by Manifest, Chanakya IAS Learning and Byju’s academy’s.

On March 11, Commander, Hajipir Brigade along with Tushar Kumar, CEO Plutus Academy and Dr Huma Hassan felicitated 20 students nominated for online coaching of UPSC and NEET exams in Hajipir Brigade, Trehgam.

Students were felicitated and were provided with the essential details to carry out the online training from Plutus academy. The efforts and enthusiasm of students was highly appreciated by the Army officials who motivated them to remain focused on their goals and work hard with full enthusiasm and zeal to achieve the same.
