Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that the Centre has not hidden the number of deaths due to Covid-19. Replying to supplementaries in the Rajya Sabha today, the Minister said, five lakh 33 thousand deaths have been reported in the country so far.
He said, State and Union Territories’ administrations compile death data and Centre provides it in the public domain. He appreciated the efforts of the healthcare workers and front-line workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
