CBI registered FIR against Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in connection with the allegation against him leveled by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, NCP’s Jayant Patil slammed the agency for using the permission given by the court to achieve political objectives.
Taking to Twitter Jayant Patil wrote that the High Court had directed a preliminary probe against Deshmukh and accordingly an inquiry was held of 4 persons. However, he added that he has not heard of any report filed by CBI yet.
Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut also condemned the action by CBI on Anil Deshmukh. Sanjay Raut, in a tweet written in Marathi, wrote that the High Court had directed the CBI to file a report, after ordering a preliminary inquiry. He also said that FIR seems does not seem to be just and rational.
The Sena MP also quoted a famous dialogue from the Indian TV series CID and said, “Daya…Kuch to gadbad jarur hai.”
