Cache of arms and ammunition recovered from Dardpora village in Kralpora area of Kupwara

Srinagar: Security forces’ have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from village Dardpora in Kralpora area of Kupwara, an official spokesperson said on Tuesday.

The spokesperson said that based on specific inputs from Kupwara police, a joint operation was launched jointly by the Kupwara police, the Indian Army and the Border Security Force (BSF) in general area of Nangari forest, Dardpora, Kralpora area.

The joint operation, the official spokesperson said, yielded a huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives, including 8 AK magazines, 445 live AK rounds, 1 pistol, 3 pistol magazines, 13 live pistol rounds and a hand grenade.
