Delhi: A major security scare swept through the national capital on Tuesday after multiple lower courts in Delhi received bomb threat calls, prompting rapid evacuations and intensive searches by security agencies. Threats were reported at Saket Court, Patiala House Court, Tis Hazari Court and several other district courts, leading to an immediate and coordinated response from Delhi Police.
Court complexes were swiftly cleared as bomb disposal squads, dog squads and anti-sabotage teams reached the locations for detailed inspections. Security measures across all district courts were significantly tightened, with personnel placed on high alert as a precaution.
Amid the unfolding situation, two CRPF schools in the city also received bomb threats—one located in Dwarka and the other in Prashant Vihar. Police teams conducted prompt campus sweeps and deployed additional security to ensure the safety of students and staff. Officials said they are treating the alerts with utmost seriousness while efforts are underway to identify the source of the calls.
