Mumbai: After a series of charges were levelled against him, senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut today is shaken to the core fearing that he (Gopichand Padalkar) may let out secrets about meetings with wine owners held abroad. He is thus suffering from ‘Zhing Zhing Zhingat’, sarcastically remarked Padalkar.
Taking on the outspoken Sena spokesperson, the BJP MLC remarked that farmers in the state today are facing all those hardships which they never had to face so far. Not only there were power cuts during the time of harvesting, but also police force was used against them.
Questioning the state governments recent decision to allow sale of wine on shelf in grocery stores, Padalkar further remarked “Are you ready to specify this as a policy that only wine produced in Maharashtra can be sold here and not the one connected with the meetings held abroad?”
“You have justified the decision by invoking the name of Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP chief). However, I am sure that owing to what he has faced in his youth, he will never want today’s young generation to be addicts”, quipped Padalkar in an oblique remark aimed at the senior Sena leader.
