Ms Ruchita Rane

Ruchita Rane is a researcher, academician and cultural practitioner working at the intersection of education, public policy, socio-economic development and Indian knowledge traditions. A gold medallist in Sanskrit from the University of Mumbai, she has nearly two decades of experience in academia, teaching and curriculum development. As a visiting faculty member, she has taught and mentored students while also contributing to Sanskrit school education through curriculum design and digital learning initiatives. Her multidisciplinary interests bring together Sanskrit, biochemistry, culture, education, public policy and artificial intelligence. Rane currently serves as Head of Territory Development for Jammu & Kashmir and Goa at the Vivek PARC Foundation, where she contributes to research-backed socio-economic development initiatives. She is also a trained practitioner of Bharatanatyam. Her engagement with the performing arts enables her to connect academic theory with lived cultural experience, particularly in the study of Indian aesthetics and heritage. An accomplished speaker, researcher and cultural ambassador, she has addressed audiences on national and international platforms. Her writing explores Indian civilisation, knowledge systems, culture, education and the continuing relevance of India’s intellectual traditions.
