Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, actress Taapsee Pannu and Vikas Bahl’s residence in Mumbai were raided by the Income Tax officials in Mumbai. On Wednesday, the officials reached their residence and conducted raids.
The I-T searches are in connection with Kashyap’s Phantom Films, which was dissolved in 2018. The searches are part of a tax evasion probe and conducted at about 20 locations in Mumbai and Pune, including the properties of Shibhashish Sarkar (CEO Reliance Entertainment), Afsar Zaidi (CEO Exceed), Vijay Subramaniam (CEO Kwan).
