Always vigilant and helpful for the locals, Border Security Force rushes to help family in distress

Srinagar: In the wee hours of January 31st at about 02.00 am a fire broke out in the two storied house of one Abdul Mazid Khan resident of village Awoora (ward No-07) under Kupwara district in Jammu & Kashmir.  

The Fire brigade reached the site soon enough and the fire was completely brought under control within a few hours. 

The jawans of the 172 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) deployed at Kupwara-Trehgam rushed to the spot as soon as they came to know about the incident and extended all their help along with basic food items, ration items, medical aids etc. The BSF personnel also consoled the family members about the loss of their property.
