Bihar government has further eased Covid-19 curbs by allowing the schools to resume academic activities with fifty percent attendance in classes 9th and 10th from August 7. Similarly Primary and middle schools will also be opened from August 16. Coaching institutions can work with 50 percent attendance of students on alternate day. This decision was taken yesterday at meeting of crisis management group headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The new relaxations will be effective from August 7 to 25.
All shops and business establishments will be opened till 7 pm every day with a weekly closing on one day. Cinema halls are also opened to operate till 7 pm with 50 percent of the seat capacity. Shopping malls will be opened till 7 pm on alternative days. Public transport vehicles will be allowed to run with their full capacity of passengers. The night curfew will remain in force from 9 pm to 5 am every day. Religious places will remain closed.
