The government has refuted the claim that COVID vaccine causes infertility in women and men. Government has stressed that COVID vaccines are completely safe and there is no scientific evidence of childlessness due to vaccination. Many fake news and messages are viral in social media which are spreading the rumour about the COVID vaccine.
The Government has also refuted a claim wherein it has been claimed that Mucormycosis known as Black Fungus can be treated with the use of turmeric, rock salt and mustard oil. The Press Information Bureau of Government has termed this claim fake saying that there is no scientific evidence for the treatment of black fungus with the use of turmeric, rock salt and mustard oil. It urged the people not to trust home remedies for the treatment of any such serious health problem.
