The Election Commission has announced that there will be not victory rallies after the polls results are announced. The cases in the country are surging daily and the situation is grim.
Not more than 2 persons shall be allowed to accompany the winning candidate or his/her authorised representative receive the certificate of election from the Returning Officer concerned.
There were assembly elections in the country which saw huge crowd in the rallies and because of that EC faced backlash for their mismanagement.
